Did your CCW make a difference when moving from shall-issue to may-issue state?

CCW permit holder in a southern state with relatively good reciprocity.​If I were to move to a less friendly state (CA, NY, MA, etc.) - I realize my permit would not be honored there. However, would the fact that I had a permit at all weigh positively in my favor? Obviously there are huge differences between city/rural areas, but for those who have made a move from a relatively permissive CCW state, and had a permit, did it help at all when obtaining a permit in the may-issue state? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2NrAmlc
