I've been carrying my H&K USP compact 9mm in this holster for 6 months now, and wanted to give a brief post on my thoughts, and my advice if you are looking into buying a holster from G-Code. First off, the holster is very well constructed, no rough edges, the hardware is rock solid with no play or wiggling at all. It feels like it is higher end than the typical folded/taco style of kydex that most people make. This model has the fuzzy, suede like finish on the outside, I personally love this as it seems to keep the rig in one place while running and moving around in general. Overall, I've been very pleased with the holster, I carry 1:30ish appendix, and it works well. Now, the downsides- the wait time is ludicrously long in a market where companies like Vedder can have a holster custom ordered and shipped within a week. I waited almost 7 weeks for the holster to show up, and although it is worth it, you have to understand that you will be waiting an agonizing amount of time. Also, sometimes I wish there was a way to add a claw, as it does tend to push the grip out and print when walking. I'm a pretty small dude, around 5' 3',135 lbs and I feel like just a little bit more inward angle would help just about anyone regardless of size with concealability. Overall I would recommend this holster. I've been impressed with it's construction, ease of draw, and overall sense of being a step up from the run-of-the-mill kydex holster that everyone and their brother makes. Also, buy a nice, stiff belt. It will make your firearm disappear, increase your credit score, and make the ladies swoon when you run drills at the range. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2MAlfcJ
