Some people prefer high lumens and concentrated candela, some say that around 700 lumen will be more helpful than high lumen. And of course some say that it is utterly useless. I would like to buy one for self defense just in case but I want to be sure which one I am buying and for what purpose, and how it will be effective in that situation. So people who have had experience or can offer valuable advice and suggestions are welcome.
