Today I just got my CCW permit in Jefferson County NY. I was given an estimate of 18 months but I turned my application in in February so it's been about 7 months. Anyway, I had to take a pistol safety course and the instructor explained how some gun laws go by county and that Jefferson county permits are automatically unrestricted. I've been trying to look up the county rules and I only come across the application. Where do I go to find those laws? I have not found anything regarding restrictions with this permit.
