People who have carried with shoulder holsters, what was your experience?

Hello all,I've been watching a lot of Miami Vice this quarantine and its made me wonder about the beautiful impracticality that is the shoulder holster.I realize its pretty dated, with much better options out there like appendix carry, and I probably wouldn't bet my life on a setup like that. But I'm still curious.
