Hey everyone so in a few weeks I’m flying down to Austin, TX from CT and I wanted to know if the city has any laws regarding concealed carry into places like bars, restaurants, stores and what not. I checked and TX as a whole honors my CT CCW permit but I’m curious about the city specifically and any ordinances or laws they have that would restrict me.Additionally I was hoping for someone recently who’s flown with a gun and how it works. I know I’m supposed to have a hard case thats locked up and the gun completely empty and i have to declare it when i show up to the airport. What type of cases are acceptable? Can i put the case in my suitcase if its small enough? If my mags are out of the gun can they be loaded or do i have to by ammunition when I’m down there and dispose of it when I leave?
