Hey all!After getting my CPL in July I haven’t been been to the range since. I know it is irresponsible, and I am working to change that. Just looking for recommendations for how much ammo to bring and a basic warm up training regimen for now.Indoor, rapid fire allowed between 8-15 feet, allow two seconds for shots beyond 15.I went yesterday and brought 300 rounds of Magtech 115 grain 9mm, as well as (50rds) Speer Gold Dot 147 grain 9mm and (25) Remington Gold Saber 127 grain.It was a humbling experience as I practiced from a cold low ready draw. I eventually ran transitions to off hand/single hand and shifting between two targets. I also made sure to cycle ammo between the three as well as throw in snap caps. I also practiced mag changes clumsily.A few questions as well: 1) should my training ammo be similar weight to my carry? 2) timer/chronograph recommendations?Thank you for your time and assistance via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2GcRuta
