Disabled Veteran Needs Help

Ok so I’ve been reading and following and learning a lot here over the last year + so thanks to all of the contributors in the forum. While I haven’t carried I have enjoyed the forum immensely. The reason I haven’t carried is because of an injury to my dominant hand (right) when I was in service years ago. As such, I have nerve damage to my right hand (away from my thumb) and my pinky doesn’t close at all. I haven’t felt comfortable handling a firearm since the helocast training injury almost took my hand. However, over the years, as firearms have gotten smaller and easier to handle, Ive been angling to start carrying and possessing a firearm again.I’ve got a few firearms training courses lined up, and have plans to just go shoot and see what feels good. That being said, I also wanted to ask the experts, you all here, for advice / opinions on smaller (compact/subcompact) firearms that u might think will work.I prefer 9mm as my first firearm, but am also open to 380 if need be. I would think IWB appendix carry as well. Hand size is probably small - medium and I’m about 5’6-7” and 170-175lbs (not fat, but not super athletic anymore either; got a small “beer belly” despite not drinking much when I turned 40 lol). The firearm will be dual use at first as a CCW and H-D. Furthermore, in FL so most of my CCW will be done on my H-D RoadGlide Special so appendix may not be the best idea in the world either. That being said, I’m also trying to find the best belt with a non metal clasp so it won’t scratch the tank while riding. And $$ will be spent on a quality holster to match once a firearm is decided upon. After reading and research, I’m currently looking at these firearms :S&W M&P Shield 2.0 Sig P365 Walter PPS M2 H&K VP9SK Springfield XDS 2 Glock (19, 43x, 26) CZP 10CI know the Sig has had a bunch of problems and people’s opinions lie in camps of personal preference usually, but these seem to be the most likely matches for me and my situation. Budget is about $500 +- for the firearm itself. Thanks in advance for all your help and input.Sp3k0pz via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2uN2hV7
