Traveling to Illinois. Can I vehicle carry?

I will be traveling from Michigan to Illinois in a few weeks. Mostly driving 94/294 to the northern part of IL. I have my Michigan CPL. I know that IL does not honor the MI permits, but I am getting mixed information about carrying in my vehicle.
