Not trying to shill for StealthGear but anyone who's looking for a good shirt tucking concealment holster, it's a great option
how do u deal with aggressive teenagers as adult?
My girlfriend was on a bus the other night with her friend who is quite overweight. A gang of teenage girls started harassing them and calling her friend fat and so on. My girlfriend and her friend tried to walk away but the gang followed them and kept harassing them. My girlfriend snapped and confronted the leader of the gang and asked her what her problem was. Obviously she didn't take it well and got physical, pushed and kicked my girlfriend. She didn't hit back and eventually just walked away.
I got quite angry learning about this and been thinking how do you handle something like this? Even if I was there i wouldn't be able to do much without getting myself in trouble legally. In Sweden teens doesn't get punished really for anything but if you as an adult in some way hit back you could get yourself in quite some trouble...
What would be the best course of action to deal with something like this without getting yourself into legal trouble?

Justified in using pocket knife?
I’m 5’4 and slim. Almost had an altercation with this dickhead who was at least 6ft and a bit of fat because he didn’t like me and my grandmother wearing face masks. We didn’t say or do shit to him. He just eyed us and wanted to pick on us.
I ask this because he cornered me in the store by using his weight forcing me to step back and I ended up with my back towards a large glass window. He was feinting to head butt me and just talking shit. I’ve been in muay thai for 4 years, but I was not willing to throw hands with this large ass dude. However, I did have my pocket knife.
Had he did attacked me or my grandmother and I used my pocket knife, would I had been justified? I live in California btw.

How do I defend myself against shoulder bumping?
How can I legally defend myself at the moment of contact when someone intentionally pops me right on the shoulder or on the chest
I see this happen all the time without thinking about it. It happened to me the other day and I know it was intentional. The guys shoulder didn't bump my shoulder, it landed on my chest. Which I consider an assault, but don't know legally. What could I have done in moment as I was bumped? Raised my hand, and pushed him away? I don't know.

Does anyone actually carry a pocket holster like this?! Bit insane to me
I know on-body carry is way better, but is carrying off-body fine in some situations?
What would you choose?

Any defence against the coward punch?
Is there any defence against the unseen hit from behind in the street? In Australia we call this the coward punch. There have been people killed by it. There was a case in Perth where a young soccer star was left in a hospital coma; I donated money to his crowd fund to get his parents over.
Now martial arts and weapons don't help here: you can't block what you never see. But is there any tactical training to use the street layout to make it harder for the coward puncher to get a shot away? They want the shot at you from behind. For instance at a train station or a bus stop are there ways of standing or moving to make the coward puncher have to do too much work to get in position.
This is what I WISH that self defence would teach. But it never does. It's not sexy. It doesn't get a photo of ancient Wu Shu. But avoiding the coward puncher can save your life. Note: I am talking about something totally unprovoked for the sake of just doing damage.

Knife Attack - Forearm Control
Combination Analysis: Knife Stabbing, Slashing, Pushing, and Footwork in Top Self-Defense Techniques
In the video above, instructors from the Israeli KALAH Combat System, show stages of self-defense against a bottom cyclic stab, using a technique called "Forearm Control" of the attacking hand. If in the first case a self-defense expert in an applicable method has a chance of up to 20% survival in the second case he strives for zero. I am not talking about an unskilled person in the applicable self-defense methods, because his chance in both cases is 0 for survival. The Israeli KALAH Combat System recommends a number of steps below to get some chance of survival:
- Step 1 - Once the attacker is identified, the distance between him and the victim is life-threatening. That is, it must be reduced, before the victim raises his hands up, close to each other (defending vital body organs). When the timing of the counter-attack start must be as soon as the knife begins the movement and before it receives the maximum power of the swing. That is a short moment after the attacker's exit. Assuming the attacker is holding a knife in the right hand, the victim performs a counterattack with a triangular-step technique using the right leg. That is, to a zero-range reduction.
- Step 2 - The victim using both hands will lock the arm (the hand with the knife), where when making the entry the victim's hands are closed to the fists (so as not to injure fingers). Important Note: Do not be in a ninety-degree (perpendicular) position in front of the attacker. In this situation, the attacker can move a knife immediately next to another. That is, in an ideal situation the victim would be parallel to the attacker while locking the arm.
- Step 3 - The victim's body is tilted forward with both hands locking the attacking arm. Usually, in these moments there is a struggle between the two and there are cases where a rotary movement to the opposite side of the attacker is essential with the application of force downwards on his shoulder. Step 4 - In moments of struggle, the victim along with the circular motion and "Forearm Control" uses the right hand to hit the victim. Additionally, combined kicks and knees for vital areas of the attacker, like the groin and abdomen area.
- Step 5 - The right hand continues to lock the attacking arm and the left-hand wraps around the arm. In such a situation, even more, force is exerted on the attacker from above, through blows to the head and kicks. When, in the end, the attacker is on the ground. Step 6 - On the ground, the left hand continues to lock the attacking arm, and the right-hand strikes until the knife are released from the hand. Important Note: The knife must be out of reach of the attacker (farther). When at the end of the process the victim collects the knife and moves it away from the attacker.

Would a rubber bullet or BB gun be ideal for Uber?
As an Uber/Lyft driver, I am concerned about my safety from certain passengers. I have done almost 3,000 rides and I have yet to encounter a passenger threatening me. I am afraid to use a real firearm since I have never used one before. Would a non-lethal rubber bullet or BB gun be ideal for self defense to protect myself as a driver? If so, which would you recommend and where can I find one in So California?

Self defense weapons that are legal at airport?
Long story short I'm a very weak 13f that has to fly alone very frequently, I have literally no muscle mass and could probably be killed by a slightly upset dog. I haven't left the house without pepper spray in over 2 years, (it's a comfort thing at this point) and am extremely anxious to have to fly without it. (It definitely doesn't help that I have a 3-5 hour layover in Chicago) Are there any self defense tools that I can take with me in my carry on?

Occasional spousal exasperation about carrying everywhere.
My wallet hates me, but not as how much I love this setup!
If you don’t wear cargo pants or jeans but conceal carry you are going to love this. Public rec makes business style clothing but with the feel of sweatpants or joggers. I had bought the arrowhead tactical to try but this blows that idea out of the water.

Is self defense neglected by most ppl in fights?
I feel like most regular people don't even think about it and concentrate on fucking up the other person instead. There's no sense of well I should probably put up my arms, try to block, or move out of the way from punches. It feels more like both people fighting just throw wild punches and hope one lucky one will be the KO. Am I right and is this to your advantage when trying to protect yourself?

How to do a Rear Naked Choke | BJJ
Few key components for both securing and finishing a Rear Naked Choke that I have found to be successful. Obviously other factors can come into play for self defense, but this is strictly focused on the choke itself.
