Have a question I was hoping ya’ll could help me with. My girlfriend and I are planning a cross country trip. She has a CCW from Tennessee. We are planning on taking her Ruger Sp01 and a few moon clips with us. I recognize that we can only keep it loaded in the car / carry while hiking through states that have reciprocity with Tennessee. My question regards registration. The revolver was a gift from her father. Do we need to get it legally transfered to her name? I think I’ll get a CCW for ease of use (I’ll prob be the one carrying it anyway), but does that mean I need my own firearm registered to me? (We will not be legally married at this point.)
