City-run event had no guns rule but had the worst security I’ve ever seen.

The city I live in puts on a really big event every year, and they don’t allow CCW, but hardly searched anyone and people had entire bags not searched (normally if they were a woman). I went through a metal detector and definitely had enough metal on me to set off the detector, but they waved me through.From a legal standpoint, I think the worst they could do is turn me away, considering it’s written in the state constitution that localities cannot further limit 2A.It was annoying to say the least, and the amount of hassle and crowd size for the whole event was just too much for me and I’d rather not go again. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3vOTO2w
