Strange situation happened in my area last night. I went to the green knight with a couple friends 2.5 months ago at some movie theater they picked, I hadn’t been there before. Anyways, there was a part of me that was like ahh do I really carry in the movie? It’s it necessary? But of course I thought to myself, duh carry always dude wtf do you mean. The theaters are just reopening for corona, and they’ve been known to be a place where shit can happen. So when I got to my seat I took some time to take in my surroundings, and where the exits are, what lines of sight there are from where I’m sitting, where others are sitting in relation to me, all of that in case someone came in or was in there looking to do harm. Of course, like most days nothing happened.Now last night, I saw a news story there were shots fired in the lobby. Thankfully nobody was hurt, no suspect , theater was evacuated etc.It just really felt strange to me seeing I had this mental dialogue about carrying to my first movie since corona virus shut most that down, and it happened to be a movie theater I had no familiarity with at all, out of all the movie theaters in my metropolitan area.
