Concealed carry trends

Has anyone else noticed that concealed carry goes through trends? What trends have you seen?I remember 20yr ago, about the only holsters you could find were crappy Uncle Mikes or leather holsters. Then around 2007ish, the Crossbreed Supertuck came out and hybrid holsters were all the rage. People liked them because they were more comfortable than fully kydex but held up better than full leather. Then a few years ago those $110 Ventcore holsters were super popular. Nowadays it seems like most people go for a full kydex holster. 20yr ago, almost no one carried AIWB. Nowadays it seems pretty evenly split to carry AIWB or IWB.And in regards to handguns, 20yr ago everyone recommended compact double stacks like the Glock 26 for concealed carry. Then slimmer single stacks like the Kahr became all the rage which prompted S&W to release the Shield and other manufacturers to follow suit. Today the rage seems to be higher capacity firearms made specifically for concealed carry like the Sig P365. With firearms like the P365 and Hellcat, do you think single stacks like the Shield and XDs are obsolete? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/33xFbUN
