New m9a3, should I open it up and clean it before shooting it?

I'm just getting a chance to take my first gun to a range, should I clean it or something? field strip? full strip?I hear some guns have packing grease that should be removed, is the m9a3 this way?anything else I should know before going to a gun range? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3f4CXi2
