I once had a FIL tell me that with a licence to carry in MN, he was legally allowed to load his magazines before heading to the range. He would separate the empty gun (no mag or none chambered) in a different case and the loaded magazines in a range bag. I only saw him do this with pistols but let's say he had upwards to 20 magazines loaded and ready for the range day.Is this legal in MN?Does this legality transfer to rifle magazines (30rd AR)?Lastly, and my biggest concern, does this legality transfer let's say he drove into WI to an outdoor range our friends house?
