Knife for self defence ?

I live in England I’m 17 and I’ve got problems with someone who is older than me and may come to my door . If he does I won’t hesitate to stab him I don’t have a bat otherwise I would use that . The blade is about 4.5” long sharp . There’s a camera on my porch too so if he does come there will be evidence for self defence . If I was to stab him where would I aim for to injure him but not majorly . thanks
