Does anyone run something like this in a pack? I am looking for a setup for my hiking kit

My post with a link got deleted because I didn't give more context. I don't know how much more is needed other than the description. I am looking for something like this for a hiking pack and looking for recommendations. My biggest concern being the trigger guard/retention. Carrying a G19, I need reasonable retention/protection for the trigger. I have also thought about a smooth kydex shell if they are out there and then velcroing that inside the pack.
