After a 10 year hiatus of owning firearms (when I was 21, single and in college), I just got back into it since the pandemic’s arrival. My wife and I got into a little argument when I said I was buying a handgun (unrelated to money) because she thinks it’s dangerous and unnecessary. I understood, a little, and I have it locked up during the day to alleviate her concerns. Anyways, she laughed when I said I was taking the CCW class. When I told her the point of it is to be armed when I am out and about she lost her mind. She said she will absolutely not go anywhere with me if I conceal carry. Basically she thinks I am a paranoid idiot because we live in a “safe place” even though we live a mile away from Columbine High School and she works at a hospital by the location of the Aurora Movie Theater massacre. I’ve tried telling her it’s to protect us (we have a severely disabled daughter with Cerebral Palsy) Any advice? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2ZKiDON
