State: West Virginia CC Law: Open carry permitted without permit - concealed carry permitted without permit Reason to apply: I wanted reciprocity with 35 states. Also can be used when purchasing a gun. Processing requirements: Some sort of CCW class Processing time: 5 days from appointment to submit paperwork to picking up physical permit License Fee: for 1st timers it's $75 due at submission and $25 at pickup - First fee represents the actual CHL fee, the second pays for the background check with the state police. Carry: Glock 19 gen 5 MOS w/ Trijicon RMR, TLR-7, Suppressor height sights, 3.5lb connector - Also have a compensator that I will be trying out this weekend now that I have a new guide rod/lower lb spring. Overall comments: I like the idea of a CHL. There are a few other benefits for having it in the state.
