So I bought the wife a G17 to carry in the pickup under the seat. It's in a nice padded Allen zip case with a spare magazine. She's a teacher and I got it for her in case SHTF at school. From her room, it's right across the hall, out a door and 20' to the pickup. They are not yet allowed to carry at school so this was the best scenario I could come up with. I don't keep one in the chamber because it makes me nervous to think about it vibrating around down there with no manual safety. The local roads suck. Now for the question. Am I being too paranoid?
