Do you have a carry rotation/do you have more than one CCW gun? Is it recommended?

I'm curious as to what all of your carry setups are. Pros and cons, strengths and weakness', and why you choose them. I'm pretty new to CCW (~6mo) but I carry every day, every waking minute. I try to get range and training time in at least 2x a month, usually its about 4x a month. Below is my carry lineup. I carry everything at about 4PM if I'm IWB.Ruger LCP2 w/Concealment Express tuckable kydex IWB or a DeSantis Superfly pocket holster. This is my primary carry gun. I carry this at work almost exclusively, and usually have it on me while lounging around the house. I find its size to be extremely manageable no matter what clothing I am wearing or what activity I am performing. It works well in everything from gym shorts, jeans and a tee or a suit.Pros: Small, extremely light weight, comfortable in hand and to shoot surprisingly, great trigger for a compact non-striker fire "DA" gun.Cons: Stock sights are absolutely awful. Painted the front post white, definitely helped. So small, that occasionally I depress the magazine release button when practicing rapid fire drills. Luckily my pinky is below the mag so it never falls or moves, but definitely something I am consciously working on fixing. I may resort to shaving down the mag button slightly.S&W M&P9 Shield M2.0 w/Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster. This was my first pistol ever, and I have the most experience with it. I've shot it for almost two years now and I'm extremely comfortable with it. Its size is also very manageable and I carry this at work/during the day about 20-25% of the time - more so on weekends. The Crossbreed holster is EXTREMELY comfortable and fits well, with good retention. I put Talon rubberized grips on this gun as the stock grip texture was hell against bare skin, and turns out I love shooting with them too.Pros: Small, light weight and very comfortable as well. Great grip angle. Good if not light for a CCW trigger, with a clean break and decent reset. Good stock sights.Cons: Tons of muzzle rise, very snappy gun. Very stiff recoil spring.Glock G19.4 w/Aliengear CloakTuck 3.5 IWB holster. This is one of my more recent purchases, and my first glock, AND the first glock I have ever fired. Initial impressions? I see why people like these! Grip is great, the recoil management is phenomenal and the trigger, oh the trigger. My favorite trigger ever. I am still getting used to it but I can see myself really loving this gun. I have only carried this once as I truly need a gun belt to manage the weight of this one over others. The AlienGear holster is great though, I love that synthetic padded material.Pros: Trigger, "balance" of the firearm (weight, recoil control), extremely positive trigger reset, weight.Cons: Sights. Sights sights sights. I'm so used to three dot, help. I either need to replace these ASAP, or fall on my head to fix my shitty brain.Post yours up, I'm curious about everyone's experiences! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2TTQ1zK
