Seeking Holster for Back Country Trail Running

The Goal: I’m seeking a holster for trail running in remote places that can comfortably be worn for distances of 20-30 miles or more. Attire will vary depending on season, and I’d still like to be able to draw while wearing gloves.About the carrier: 5’8”, 145. On these runs, I wear a hydration vest. The chest holster I’m seeking will go over or under that, or I could go for a solution that’s worn on the hips. Attire varies with the seasons, from a tee shirt to multiple layers.Gun: Glock 29, with a flush or +2 magazine. Also would prefer to carry a 15-round reload in a way that’s easy to grab, but that’s more preference than necessity.Stuff I’ve tried: I currently run with a Glock 43 in a ComforTac belly band. This has been a good solution for years, but lately I've been doing more running in back country where a larger caliber is desirable. The ComfortTac works great with a single stack 9mm, but when I tried a Glock 19 (similar in size to the G29) it became annoying after the first 8 miles.Solutions I’ve checked out: The Kenai Chest Holster. Love the concept, construction, and ease of use. I would prefer something that’s concealed for keeping the gun more protected from the elements and while passing other trail users.Hill People Gear kit bags. The right idea, but I’d prefer not to have to deal with zippers — especially if my hands are numb with cold, wearing gloves, or in a suboptimal state for performing a fine motor skill. So what am I looking for? * A chest-mounted rig that protects the gun. * Ideally would open with a gross movement, something like a large velcro tab. * Trigger guard coverage preferred, but I can also add a kydex trigger cover if needed. * Prefer to have a reload on board, but not 100% necessary.Does this thing exist? Any other suggestions I could check out? Thanks for the help! via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2KoowLU
