Sort of noob because I was into shooting lots 15-20 years ago, have had a card since but have very very rarely carried. I've seen some things recently that make me think daily carry might be a good idea.I have a 1g glock 23 that I really really like and for me it carries decently with an iwb in jeans. Also have a 1g kel-tec 32 that is a dream to carry in anything using my cheap chinese knockoff of a thunderwear. But it makes me nervous due to a feeding problem it's had a few times, low power and crap sights.I want something in between the 2 I already have. Most importantly: I will need to carry in like running shorts and something like a thunderwear and realize that the things I'm looking at are bigger and around twice the weight of my keltec.I went to a shop today and looked at a s&w bodyguard 380 and a glock 42. As much as I like glocks I really need the smaller size lower weight of the s&w even though it's not much smaller/lighter.I do absolutely want DAO and no ext-safety. I liked the bodyguard a whole lot except the safety, I do realize I could just never use it but the fact that it is there makes me nervous that it could cause a brain-fart at the absolute worst time.I've never seen an LCP in person but looking at some info tonight it's almost exactly same size and weight as the BG, doesn't have a safety but does have the almost non-existent sights like my kel-tec.Could an lcp be fitted with proper sights for not huge amounts of money and done right?I've never owned a revolver, have only shot one like twice in my life (a giant dirty harry sized .44) and am open to a hammerless dao rev too but the shop I was at today showed me their smallest (I think a smith in some cal I hadn't heard of) and it was considerably bigger and heavier than what I'd want. And any suggestions on a new thunderwear type thing? An actual thunderwear brand one? My current knockoff is perfectly sized for my kel-tec but I don't think it would work for bigger. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2D7wdzR
