So 2022 Election wise was a very mixed bag but there's a lot of silver lining depending in region. Here's my list for potential constitutional carry targets.• Florida-DeSantis has promised it and Republicans got a supermajority there, hopefully open carry gets passed a long with it. • Louisiana- Republicans have a good chance to override the D governors veto. • Nebraska- Republicans got a veto proof majority in their unicameral legislature. • North Carolina- Republicans got a supermajority in one house of the state legislature and are only one seat away from a supermajority in the other could potentially override Coopers veto. *• North Dakota- needs to extend their constitutional carry to open carry abd non residents. • South Carolina- it's only a matter of time, Republican trifecta, plus R's got a supermajority there this year. Virginia- Possibly if Republicans flip back the state senate in 2023 and keep the House of Delegates which is a good chance they do. •Wisconsin- Republicans got a supermajority in one house of the state legislature and are only one seat away from a supermajority in the other. Even though Evers got reelected his veto could be overridden. What do yall think? Need some thoughts. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/G83ZwyE

What's your range trip?
I go to an indoor range (that's all that's good near me) that allows me to do holster work. I shoot my rifle and can first, then while they cool I do my pistol drills.I usually bring 3 boxes, sometimes 4, so I'll put at least 150 rounds through my carry every time I go, which I try to do twice a month (lately it's been more difficult to keep up with that).I'll use a shot timer on my phone (looking to upgrade) and practice bringing down my draw times, shot splits, and groupings on various targets. Is there anything I should add, or stuff I don't need to do? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/6Lh2m1w

HELP, I got turned down on black friday trying to pick up my first glock!
SO, everything was fine we were discussing differences and holsters and to my surprise I was asked if I had a CCW, felt odd to me but; I was honest and pulled out my card. He asks me to verify address, i do. He asks me to see ID, address matches...here's the problem boys, I left my old lady middle of June (9 years, sad story blah blah blah she's a cheater) and I spoke up and said, "you're not going to mail anything are you? because I'm staying at my buddies until I find a new place to move into"....then he proceeds to tell me it can take 5 months to change my CCW? How screwed am i? Am i really going to have to go a long time unable to carry/before I can make another purchase? I'm devastated. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/EoGfQAD

Can Tactical Clothing be Gray Man?
I feel like I've been seeing a rise in military/tactical chic fashion over the last few years. More and more people seem to be wearing camo, MOLLE backpacks, tactical pants/jackets, and not to mention things like 9Line and Grunt Life shirts (which are HORRIBLY tacky in my opinion, but that's beside the point.)The concept of gray man is dressing in a "normal" way to not stand out, but if at least psuedo-tactical clothing is being worn commonly enough, do I think that wearing tactical clothing can now be considered gray man? Can someone in 5.11 pants and a Crye Precisions jacket be considered blending into the crowd, if such clothes aren't uncommon among the general population? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/webdRWm

Not all defensive situations get accounted into statistics.
This morning my parents who I live close to called me and told me there was a guy in living room so I made my way over there and this dude was passed out drunk. Didn't have time to grab my ar just went with my pistol and my underwear. Got in and had him at gunpoint and he didn't care cause he was piss drunk. Dad punched him to wake up and then dragged him out and this dude still gave us the middle finger.Nothing was taken or broken but he left his brand new phone so there's a + no police report filed nothing. However I was prepared for the worst fortunately nothing came from it . via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/oJSVgan
If you truly support 2A, does it make sense to talk about “libs/libtards who hate guns”?
Seems to me that alienating half the potential gun-owning public by saying it’s “not for people like you” weakens the 2A position overall. Isn’t the tent large enough for everyone or do you prefer to keep them out? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/ADJgHNp

Do you need to go all out if you have to?
Usually I think its bad because you go on an adrenaline dump and burn up energy fast . But this isn't a 5 minute fight based on style and points, its a street fight where the other guy is trying to take your head off in a minute or less.
Obviously with good technique and not wild. I don't know if you can really time or go at a slower tempo like in a real match. Does this make sense?

Ayoob's Words of Wisdom made my Unexpected Traffic Stop quite pleasant last night on the way to work.
I got pulled over earlier last night on the way to work, unbeknownst to me I had a tail light out. We no longer have to tell cops we are carrying in Ohio with CC laws in effect. But I was already wearing my Kevlar Hoodie, and was pocket carrying my Keltec PF9 in a blade holster, with my CZ P01 AIWB. Berries and Cherries on me, I pull over and turn on the inside lights. The cops came up told me I had a light out, seemed agitated. I let them know from my first sentence that I was "Lawfully carrying firearms as a professional courtesy." and where they were on me. They instantly relaxed somewhat. The cop got on his radio and said "The guy says he has guns on him, but I think hes Cool." I asked them how they would like to proceed and kept my hands on the wheel. They took down my social and name, and ran it, spent the rest of the stop talking with the backup cop about my WWII Stalingrad book I had on the front seat, as well as Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, the STALKER Bible. Chatted carry pistols with the standing cop, he told me to :Always CarryCarry Discreetly in your WorkplaceAnd Thank You for being calm while nervous.I was let go without a Fix-It Ticket. They loved my Pro-Hemp Stickers, and Courage The Cowardly Dog Sticker. Great Cops. I want to call their Dept to give them a commendation for professionalism.Went on my way and wished them a safe night. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/6s83W5R

Educate me: Flashlights as EDC, why?
I don’t understand the reason flashlights are part of EDC, and so I’m hoping to get educated. Is the purpose for house clearing/room clearing at night? Is the purpose to blind/disorient an attacker on the street? If wanted in on this whole thing, what flashlight am I getting? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/BjmL5NI

A buddy wants to pursue a permit
So a friend of mine was asking me for general knowledge on his medical conditions. He wants to know if he goes to a pain clinic and he does see a shrink. So he said what if I’m prescribed medicines would he be disqualified? He said he read that if he was under Doctors care, he would be ok to buy a gun and apply for a permit? He said he’s just looking for general info. He is just looking to save time and money if it’s a no go! I know we are not lawyers! Only thing I said was maybe it would be ok’d because he is legally disabled? Just general info is all he wants via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/UruIDcz

question.
I live in a shared house and my roommate had a lot people over. What happened was that people were banging on my door while I was sleeping. Hellcat Pro vs 365 xl vs x macro
Hey everyone, I’m trying to pick between these three for my next ccw. I have shot a 365 xl and have handle both a hellcat pro and a macro. My LGS has all of them in stock I’m just trying to decide between them. If you guys had to choose what would you go with? I’ve heard good and bad things about Springfield..the other option for me would be the M&P Shield Plus. Holster recommendation for dog walking
All,so my wife just got her first handgun (a G42) and intends to carry it. Now when she walks/runs by herself, due to the lack of a belt an Enigma would probably be a good solution. However, when she walks the dogs, she's usually wearing a wide "dog belt" over her jacket where she clips the leashes to and which has pouches for treats, bags, that kind of thing. This belt would obviously prevent her from accessing her gun in a IWB holster of some kind.Does someone have a similar situation and maybe a good recommendation on where to carry best? Thanks! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/UTk4ZWO

Washington non resident CCW
Hey guys was just looking for some clarification and advice. I am a California resident, but I spend a significant amount of time in Washington state and Arizona. I’m obviously going to get my non-resident Arizona license, but was curious if I should get a Utah, Washington, or any other license based on where I spend most of my time. Does Washington honor AZ or Utah non-resident. I saw on USCCA that Washington accepts with restrictions so I wasn’t sure if that meant resident only permits or anything like that. Thanks for any advice via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/MGJg0Yx

JM Custom Kydex AIWB Holster Questions
Past threads (1, 2) here have recommended a JM Custom Kydex AIWB holster for the HK P2000SK, specifically the AIWB Holster - Wing Claw 2.5. I'd like to order one to try but the options are a bit overwhelming, so I'm hoping someone can assist. For example, there are 9 belt loop options and 3 guard options. I'm looking for concealability, comfort, and safety. Input and advice appreciated! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/MDF2V8k

Every r/CCW post
Hey guys, just got my new light bearing holster. My light is wider than my gun, so why on EARTH is my holster wider near the trigger guard? This is preposterous and I can’t believe (insert any company name) would make a light bearing holster that doesn’t wrap tightly around the trigger guard, where’s my audible click??If you guys are dumb enough to use a holster like this from (insert any company name) then check out the guy who posted in here of nearly shooting his dick off due to his light bearing holster having a gap, he definitely DEFINITELY wasn’t fumbling around while trying to take his gun and holster off inside his car for some reason followed by pulling the trigger, no. Holster companies need to start making light bearing holsters that are perfectly form fitted to the light and trigger guard, because there’s nothing I love more than using a buzzsaw to remove my gun from the holster. Also will the Phlster floodlight fit my Glock 19? Also I’ve decided to go with vedder ™️ the true pinnacle of holsters for people who totally aren’t weebs or anything like that. Also hanks belts rule, because everyone knows the best CCW belts should be so stiff that you look like you’re wearing a hula hoop under your shirt. Making your stiff belt print like hell instead of your gun is big brain shit. If anyone asks about my severe pants underbite I’ll just tell them it’s a medical device πππππ haha amiright guys??Also I only wear sweatpants and basketball shorts because I’m not an adult, surely there’s not a product out there that caters to this exact need that’ll get mentioned 8 thousand times in the comments? Also I just bought a Tier 1 has anybody ever heard of it ever? I don’t know how to search things on Reddit at all.Alien Gear is also the best starter holster, because obviously recommending stuff like that is better than telling people what the good holster companies are from the start. It’s important that we give merit to shitty companies for no reason at all.Is this Amazon dovetail mount good enough for mounting my Cylee™️ red dot? Thanks.Oh and how do I appendix carry? It’s so uncomfortable and this holster sucks! Please recommend literally anything except for going to the gym, I’m severely overweight. Also my P365 smallestversiontheymake is printing heavily under my large sweatshirt, please advise, but actually don’t because printing never ever matters and nobody except other REALLY GOOD PEOPLE CCW CARRIERS πΊπΈπΊπΈ will ever noticeOh and by the way, I’m QUEER π³️ππ³️⚧️ and I carry a GUN, upvotes are on the left thanks. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/4ox9FZg

Big guy, discomfort with G19 AIWB. Worth getting the 43x?
I own a Glock 19 Gen 5, use a good gun belt and Tenicor holster for AIWB. I know there are tons of comparison threads already but wondering specifically if the thinner profile of the 43x will make enough of a difference to justify the cost.My biggest issues are difficulty concealing due to my belly, and comfort. I’m 5’10” and 230 lbs.Would love your opinions. Thanks. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/etpokxI
Moving to Colorado
I move from state to state building large real estate portfolios in each one before moving to the next one, and every time I’ve moved I’ve just gone and switched over my residency and taken whatever CCW tests/classes the state requires. In the past 4 years I’ve had 3 different licenses from 3 different states and I just moved again, this time from Ohio to Colorado. Is this just something I’m going to have to keep doing, or is there some way for me to transfer my old CCW permits to my new state of residence, so long as they have reciprocity agreements in place? Is transferring even a thing? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/MJENhlB

What would you choose?
I’m in predicament that most people only talk about in the “What-if” sense.I am limiting myself to own only five firearms in the list below. The others (and those not on the list) will be liquidated, and the proceeds used for my wife and I to pay down our mortgage. So, given the scenario, I am keeping the 5 firearms with the most versatility in a CCW yearly rotation.Live in the NE, so summer/winter carry considerations exist. Which 5 would you choose?
