Iwb comfort tips from a holster maker

I figured I’d share this quick since I get asked from time to time in comfort.First the basics is you NEED a good belt, it doesn’t need to be steel lined or so stiff you look like you have a pool floatie in under your shirt, but a good belt is half the battle. Also an undershirt is pretty much a must.My tip for picking a holster for comfort and concealment is to find the shape of the gun on your body and get a holster that holds the firearm there securely. Example can be a revolver carried at 3 o’clock with 0 cant tends to fit comfortably in a love handle area while a 1911 for me needs to ride high at 4 with a 15 degree cant, but it rides tight and comfortable enough to it doesn’t cause interrupt the day at all. Even appendix if that’s your thing just take note on your body’s shape and movement and see where the pistol is least obstructive. Not sure if this helps anyone but there it is. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/BMole7r
