Those of you that conceal carry on a daily basis, do you generally avoid states that don’t honor your permit?

I have a VA permit and don’t generally like spending an extended amount of time in DC or Maryland for that reason. But, my girlfriend wants to have a get together weekend and stay in a hotel in DC near the capitol. Not sure about southwest DC (where the hotel is) but I think it’s fairly close to southeast DC which I heard is pretty shady. But of course knowing that DC doesn’t honor my permit. I obviously cannot legally carry when I’m over there. So I’m in a bit of a personal dilemma. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3u1O9Ft
