Question for you... if a hypothetical privately owned store (let's say Walmart for example) has a sign on the front door that prohibits carrying a firearm, but you carry anyway, are you guilty of a firearm crime, or simply a breech of peace, trespassing, etc...?I'm wondering, because I'm absolutely willing to face a misdemeanor charge in order to protect myself and my family. I'm not willing to face a felony firearms charge and lose my right to carry.I know I always have the ability to shop somewhere else in most cases, but that's not true for everyone in every case. Just for example, if I needed a part for my car, there is only 1 auto parts store within an hour of me. If this establishment had a No Firearms policy, I would be very tempted to ignore it at the risk of catching a misdemeanor, but not a felony. For context, I live in CT, and I'm sure (like everything else), this will be state dependant. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/39G7UJ4
