Should I keep a round in the chamber?

I imagine it would be more important if someone was stalking or in the pursuit of you, but not so important for mass shootings, armed robberies, or generally where you’re not the target. But at the same time, why not? The trigger would have to be actively pulled for the firing pin to strike the primer anyways, and most shootings occurred within a few seconds; every second counts.I think I would be afraid of the gun getting jammed when I need it the most by having the round in the chamber from moving around often or something. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2VWH3VX
