I'm getting my license to carry which is necessary in Massachusetts to carry any sort of taser or stun gun. I don't really feel comfortable carrying a gun so I'm looking at getting a projectile stun gun like the Taser Pulse. I know the torso is generally the best place to aim for maximum effectiveness, but it gets quite cold here in the winter; so what if the assailant is wearing thick clothing? In that event the face would be the largest exposed area, so how effective would it be if it hit them there?
