I didn't realize how vulnerable I was until I found out I never had my guard up. This whole time I'd go into altercations standing straight up and even punching in a straight up stance! Luckily the other person couldn't fight and I didn't get my ass beat.
Just bending the knees and having my arms up I feel way more in control even if that doesn't guarantee anything. I can see how easy of a target you are if you don't get in a stance.I know I can't be the only one who had no clue about having my guard up.
