I might start to ramble so I'll put a tldr at the end.So for years, pre-covid, I was working full time as a live events engineer/stagehand. When covid hit, events dried up and I was forced to get a different job that I've been working for a few months now. I was unsure if I would be going back to this field but an opportunity presented itself and I couldn't turn it down. Essentially I didn't go looking for this job, they called me. I worked one gig with them, had a video interview, then they told me I was hired as long as the background check goes through, which it will. What I wasn't aware of was that I would be an employee of the city. Previously when I was either gigging, freelancing, contracting, or working for a company, I would just carry without bringing it up. The way I saw it, I was carrying legally, I never signed anything saying I wouldn't, and there was no company policy saying I couldn't. This new situation seems like I could get myself not only terminated but prosecuted. I'd like to get them the paperwork back by tonight but I'd rather know my options as far as ccw before I proceed.TLDR: What is the legality of ccw as a city employee, in the state of MO? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2XIfqgs
