I would encourage anyone thinking of attending armed protests to wait until after the 20th

Given the current climate and just how sketchy the capitol riots were, I'd encourage people to put off armed protests until after the 20th when it can't be politicized as easily. Even if you think you won't have any problems, you can't control who attends or how they behave. It's the perfect situation for an instigator to make a scene that further gives crappy politicians and the media ammunition for their causes.I wouldn't put it past an anti-gun, anti-American nutcase to sacrifice themselves for their cause. Just look at how they are capitalizing on the capitol riot and ask if you want to get caught up in round two. We need to pick our battles carefully.If you do plan to attend protests make sure you are attentive to the people and situations around you. Record any suspicious behavior or even record the entire thing. Get to know everyone there. Don't assume everyone is your friend or a friend to freedom. If anyone tells you to destroy stuff, or break anything, don't.
