Horrible experience with TXC Holsters. They won't email me back, so here's a warning for the community.

TL;DR: TXC Holsters delivered a product that is, in multiple ways, fundamentally different than what I believed I was buying. When a return was requested, they stopped answering emails. Buyer beware!I think I should preface this by saying that I did a ton of research on light bearing holsters. I wanted to make sure that I was making the right purchase because I can afford to settle on the right one, I can't afford to try twelve and settle on one. TXC looked like the best option, I saw a ton of great reviews, and all of the pictures looked great. What I got was not great. What I got, in my opinion, does not even reflect what I bought.\Please be aware the 3D configurator is a digitally rendered image, and may not reflect actual received product. Attributes such as gun/light model, patterns (camos), etc. may not be accurately shown and actual product may differ.*Most holster companies have this disclaimer. Usually referring to the color or print pattern of the kydex, or that generic doesn't reflect the mold that fits the gun. It clearly refers to the fact that the 3D model is generic and that the fit will be different for every gun. What it does not mention is that actual product may differ also includes fundamental design elements that have nothing at all to do with the fit of the firearm to the holster.3D model front: https://ift.tt/309RHbB model back: https://ift.tt/2A1FM4V are three things that are correct with what I received: it is for my gun model (P365), the kydex and washers are the right color, and the clip configuration is what I ordered. What is fundamentally different are things that were actually important to me, things that helped to influence my decision to buy this holster. The 3D model shows no sweat guard, what I got was a full height sweat guard. The model shows the back wedge as a nice round comfortable looking geometry, what I got is not round and comfortable but an uncomfortable cubism inspired dulled spike. Lastly, there's a massive amount of extra material at the end to accommodate the P365XL, which is just incredibly uncomfortable.Front of holster showing sweat guard height: https://ift.tt/305o4bt of holster showing wedge: https://ift.tt/36XkIbW" of extra material at the muzzle end: https://ift.tt/2MsSjkw haven't even started on the actual function of this thing. In order to get a level of retention that doesn't virtually bolt the gun into the holster permanently, the modwing has to be so loose that it might as well not be there at all. Regardless of how tight the retention is, the gun still wobbles around in the holster. I had a little problem with the modwing on my current Sig/Blackpoint AIWB holster, but this is three levels above that, and double the price. Then there's the issue of actual concealability. The Blackpoint holster has 0.105" of space that does not contact the gun (to allow space for the slide release and takedown lever), but the front side sits flush with the slide. The TXC has a whopping total of 0.311" extra space that serves no purpose. I understand needing the clear the light, but we're talking about areas where there's nothing to clear but the slide. In short, it's relatively massive.Blackpoint front (flush fit): https://ift.tt/2U8CRhF back (minimal clearance, 0.105"): https://ift.tt/2XwHUuk front (0.139" clearance): https://ift.tt/3eKVfoO back (0.172" clearance): https://ift.tt/2MueWoR has TXC to say about all of this? Some of the molds we make differ based on what the purpose of the model was at that time. For example, some molds have come as a result of government contracts which may have called for a high sweat guard, so that’s how the programs were written. The good thing is that we can send a return shipping label and cut that down for you if you’d like. The most effective way is to use some tape to tape off where you want it cut, and we’ll make it happen. Would you like to proceed?Well they offered to cut off the sweat guard if I mail it back. When I refused and stated that I just wanted to return it, the emails ceased. I've given them a week to respond, it's not happening.I guess I'm just going to have mail it back myself and call my credit card company about it. I truly feel like the fabulously well-reviewed holster that I bought and the uncomfortable piss-poor fitting thing I received are not the same thing. I hate feeling like the proverbial Karen, I don't like returning items or making a scene, but I also don't like being lied to and subsequently ignored. I research my online purchases really hard before I buy them to make sure they're exactly what I want. Yet here we are, I'm thoroughly pissed off.If anyone here has a personal connection with them, kindly ask them to answer their damn emails, especially the ones that don't kiss their feet. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/36X6mZb
