After about 11 months of waiting, around 200 dollars in fees, interviews, fingerprints, classes, and unbridled bureaucratic stupidity, I can now legally conceal a handgun anywhere in New York State except NYC (why even go there?) and the typical no-go places such as courts and schools. I’m just posting to let people know that it can be done in some oppressed areas (albeit very difficultly.
