RI-Non-Res Questions

Originally posted this in r/riguns, but didn't get much response, so I figured I'd repost here for more visibility in case anyone here has gone through this process.An career opportunity has come up in Providence, and it seems like the interviewing process is going well (knock on wood). As such I would like to get the ball rolling on acquiring a RI CCW. I'd like to treat this similarly to when I was in CT on an assignment for a few month stint many years ago - though I am a NY resident, I applied for my CT non-res using my NY address. No issues.I'd like to repeat that process and apply for a non-resident while I still have my NY address.Am I able to do so within any jurisdiction? Any towns better than others to go through for this?Can I provide my NRA Basic Pistol cert, CCW's from NY/CT/FL/NH/etc and be fine, or will I still need to somehow take that shooting test?TIA via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/38s4es4
