How do you acknowledge that someone is carrying without "exposing" them?

I work at a grocery store in Texas so I see all kinds of people every day. While I am not allowed to carry at work myself, I have made a fun little game out of sizing up people and trying to see if I can tell whether or not they are carrying.Obviously most people don't carry. I probably see 5 or 6 people during a shift that I would guess was carrying just based off of what they are wearing and checking for little black clips and printing and stuff.Hell, there's one dude that I see about once a week who just completely ignores the 30.07 sign and is open carrying every time he comes in.The point of the post though is the other day a gentleman came through my register wearing a #bluelivesmatter t-shirt and generally carried himself with that presence like he had been in the military or was a cop. So I size him up and he is pretty obviously printing. We started talking and he was a really cool guy and I wanted to acknowledge that I also had my LTC but didn't want to let everyone around us know he had a gun (I mean it's concealed for a reason) so I just stayed quiet about it.So I guess my question is in a situation like that, what is a discrete way to acknowledge someone is carrying? Or would you just stay quiet about it entirely? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/31MrPBq
