What kind of testing do you do on a carry gun before carrying other than 500 rounds without failure?Long story short I had a AD/ND because one of my old carry guns was missing a safety plunger spring allowing the decocker to hit the firing pin hard enough to go off and I shot myself. That was 5 years ago and I am finally getting around to carrying again as it kind of freaked me out. I have striker fired pistols only now. I know I trust the guns barring a mechanical issue but I’m still hesitant to carry appendix. So far I have left all my guns I want to carry “cocked” for 2 weeks in a holster. Obviously they had no failure. Anything else you guys do? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2RRbdFv
