Car gun safe selection

Due to circumstances beyond my control I will be required to regularly go to a place where concealing a gun is not possible. And I don't mean an NPE, I mean it's really impossible, not just prohibited. I am uneasy about trusting a locker or one of those payed "valuables lock boxes" provided at the location because I don't know how many other people may have the key. I decided to go with the option of leaving my gun in the car in a car safe or car lock box because at least then I don't need to trust the staff. The whole car being stolen is not a significant risk, I generally stay away from brands and models sought after by car thieves. My requirements are:- fits at least a Glock 19 with a TLR-1 HL and one extra magazine, ideally with extra room so I can store it holstered- attaches to a fixture in the car via a steel cable, don't want a smash and grab thief to just take the whole thing- flat enough to fit under the seat so it's out of sight- I want a mechanical combination lock, because batteries can fail and I don't want a key in case someone steals all my other stuff from my locker and then uses my car keys to steal my car-quick access is not a big factor, I am talking about storing the gun when it's out of my reach, not about childproofing a gun while I'm at home via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2UBZTi0
