CCW in a kidnapping situation

My wife and I have been talking about one situation that scares my wife greatly. She wants to get her CCW mainly in case of this one situation but we don't know the correct way to respond. In a kidnapping situation when a person is forced into a car or somehow kidnapped with force but the kidnappers have no weapons (knives or guns), is that considered "deadly force" to where you could use you firearm to defend yourself? What I was thinking was that if they don't have weapons and are just using physical force (basically fists and beating me up) I don't know that I can use my firearm because it's not deadly force.Sorry for the poor way this is worded.
