All my buddies laugh and chide when I share my intent for a tier 1 appendix as a primary ccw position."crossdraw is ineffective" "I'll disarm you and laugh" "Why bother carrying at all"They say 3 or 4oclock is the only true way."my friends in special forces will straighten you out" "so much better"I prefer to have my ccw hidden. Not just obscured from direct sight, but hidden. The weight hidden, no printing, no grip protrusion. I want it gone. And I know "doesn't matter if it prints" but it does.If there's a moment when you're getting your hair cut at the barber shop and a gunman walks In and sees the fit guy with a bulge on his hip, he's already got the drop. You're not out drawing when you're already under the gun, so you're easily disarmed. Element of suprise is your only weapon. Buy time, take the moments and execute when it's right and the opp is busy. (referencing an actual video, sorry no link)I don't wear clothes that hide hip carry well. And I'm not thrilled about jeans and a flannel shirt in the heat.So That leaves appendix carry.Who can weigh in. Do I really need to figure out 3-4:00 carry to be effective? Thanks via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/37oKaqU
