Should I be concerned about my coworker?

My company recently announced it is about to have active shooter training going on towards the end of the year. Following the news about the announcement one of my coworkers began very loudly circulating the office talking about how they keep a gun in their car and if an active shooter ever comes in the building people should just call them. They even went to another coworker known to go to the range and basically mentioned they should call that person too.Something really rubs me the wrong way about someone pompously going around telling everyone they have a gun and are incredibly eager about shooting a potential threat. I keep a Taurus G2c in my car but I never dare tell anyone I do that for obvious reasons. Has anyone ever encountered a very gun happy coworker before? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2vGn90u
