Ive only been carrying for a few months and I have a bad habit of clicking my magazine with my thumb all day for no reason other than my OCD telling me too. Im working hard on cutting this habit off, but Im worried that Im causing unnecessary wear to the firearm. Never had my pistol fully disassembled so Im not sure what the magazine retention mechanism really consists of.
