So I am used to wearing cargo pants and a loose polo t-shirt. My girlfriend is wanting me to dress more "preppy" since we are in our early/mid 20's and it just looks better on me. The only issue I have had is appendix carrying my XD Mod. 2 3 inch 9mm. I am using a JM Custom Kydex "The George" holster with the neoprene sponge wedge and find that even with using a Relentless Tactical gun belt, I have to have the belt tight in order for the gun to stay secure and avoid rollout. The issue with this is that when I go to sit down in the car or at a restaurant, it becomes so uncomfortably tight I really can't eat (either the gun barrel digs into my leg or the butt of the gun sticks into my abdomen). Or I have to re-adjust it quite a bit when I sit down and again when I get back up.I have resorted back to pocket carrying my Ruger LCP II .380 since it is just more comfortable and I don't have to make a show about readjusting every time I sit or get up.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can carry my 9mm comfortably? How have you carried a similar sized gun? I am 5'11" and 130lbs with a 31" waist so maybe that is the problem?
