I was thinking that a backpack might be quite an effective shield against knives attacks. Especially if it had some sort of straps on the back: so that you could handle it with one hand, like a medieval shield. Something like the picture below.

However, it seems that there are no backpacks on sale with such a system of straps. There are antibullet backpacks on sale (ridiculous in my opinion) but no ne really thought about adding a couple of straps on the back of the thing?
Do you know any brand that could make such a product?
