Crazy guy wanted to fight

Yesterday, it is a gorgeous day in Colorado. Four of us geeks (all white, it will be important later) decide to go out for lunch. After we finished, we're walking back, discussing finer points on the original Red Dawn and the remake of Red Dawn - we all agree China was more likely to invade than NK, but I digress...We're about the cross the street on a green light, and on the other side of the street, this massive black guy (important a bit later) starts yelling, he takes his shirt off and he's making noises, but we're next to a 6 lane road and we can't hear him well. We get closer, and he starts fronting us, ready to fight, with his shirt on the ground. From what I've seen on youtube, shirt removal in certain circles means business. It turns out he is yelling at us about twitter, president, and something along the lines of "don't pretend you didn't see it, don't pretend you don't know". He is flexing his muscles, getting in our faces, yelling on top of his lungs - all while I am realizing I had a work meeting and didn't pocket carry because of what I had to wear that day. He is yelling at us because one reason only - we are white and the president is white. One of my friends - pretty big himself at 6'3" 230lbs, stops, puts his hand on the dudes shoulder and tells him "it's ok". This guy is completely taken back - he doesn't even know how to answer. We keep moving, and he yells something like "yeah, it better be OK" or something like that. That's when I let go of my CRKT M16 folding knife.Few days ago, we had cops stop a stolen car and an armed fugitive took off - 1/2 mile from where I work. Few months ago, I caught a guy rummaging through the drawers and laptops in our IT setup area and he ran off when he saw me - he was about to do stuff in my cubicle and didn't hear/see me there. No real good point to the story, other than I am going to carry constantly from now on. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2O30sL9
