Appendix carry: keeping gun concealed while reaching for something high

I'm just curious what do you guys do when you're appendix carrying and you have reach for something high up? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2X12XW4

Which carry weapon do you pick

I have the option of a brand new S&W 9mm Performance Center Sheild 2 mags. Or a XD9 Mod 2 4.0 with 3 mags. Both seem like really solid pistols with nice upgrades but I have not handled or fired either. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3bJnp21

Convincing my parents to let me conceal carry. Help!

Hello all, I am 21 years old and recently ordered my first pistol (Canik TP9 Elite Sub Compact) for in store pickup in 2 weeks. My intention with getting my first pistol is for self defense conceal carry and practicing at a range, My family is no stranger to owning guns and my mother was upset when she found out I had ordered the pistol. I told her I would be taking a ccw class and get my permit. However she is saying that I need to return it, her excuse? That my prefrontal cortex is not completely developed and I was even called a "hot head" during the conversation. If anything I am more fit to carry a pistol than her. I watch hundreds of ccw and gun enthusiast youtubers (such as Active Self Protection, Demolition Ranch, iraqveteran8888 to name a few) She said as long as I am living in her house that I cannot own my own gun. (btw I am still living with my parents because I am in school and am having a baby girl in may) Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated :) via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2Uy1oxi

Sacramento County CCW "Privilege" of applying for a CCW.

So the Sheriffs department has stopped CCW's for over a year because of the Wuhan Virus. Per the website: "The COVID 19/Corona Virus has temporarily changed the operating procedures regarding the CCW Permit. The protection of life supersedes the privilege of applying for a CCW Permit. All new appointments will be canceled until further notice. All appointments will be rescheduled. Applicants may change their appointment. Renewals, duplicates and residential modification of a CCW will be processed at this time. CCW Permit Renewals, duplicates or residential modifications may be canceled as conditions and/or directives change." via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2w5EnIF

Question regarding Arizona non-resident carry

Quick background bit of info, I currently live in California, legally own a handgun but don’t have a CCW permit. I will be staying with family in AZ for a while until the COVID-19 situation de-escalates.Here’s the question, can I concealed carry in AZ as a non-resident and without a permit? I realize that this probably seems like a dumb question but AZ is one of a few Constitutional Carry states which allows “anyone over the age of 21...and who can legally posses a firearm to carry in most public places” I have seen Arizona non-resident CCW permit applications online but is this necessary under AZ gun laws or is the permit just a bonus for shared reciprocity reasons? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3bImNK4
