Is there a stick that has a compressed air capsule inside that has a bit that extends once you hit something with it. or a gunpowder capsule that does the same, Basically once you hit someone with it, the gunpowder explosion makes the extendable bit push further into the target with greater force than a punch could.
Given how a regular firecracker can explode the lid off a fridge, you could use the same principle.
