[GA] Question about firearm in vehicle on school campus.

I have a friend who is a elementary school teacher. She recently got a handgun, but doesn't have her WCL yet. Per Georgia law, you're allowed to keep a firearm in your vehicle because it is an extension of your personal property. Firearms are usually not allowed on school property. I'm fairly confident that she is allowed to keep it in her vehicle in the parking lot, but she isn't sure and doesn't want to do it unless she's certain. I've looked through a lot of articles and such, but I haven't found anything about this specific scenario.
