Interaction with Law Enforcement

It was fascinating to watch Drejka and Dunn cases seeing how both defendants were burying themselves alive thinking that cops were somehow sympathetic to them or maybe even their friends. While I believe that both men are undoubtedly morons and committed unjustified homicides, their interaction with the investigators revealed fundamental lack of understanding what was the role and objectives of those across the table from them.It brought back my memories from my early days of law school when our Criminal law professor asked us to watch the video below because, according to him, James Duane gave a better summary than he could. I suspect most if not all people here have seen this, but maybe someone has not. It is 45 minutes but it is worth every second; both the attorney part and the cop part.Do Not Talk to Police via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3hBbqYy
